The combine is decent for its age, but considering that repairs will be frequent. In terms of price, I think it's justified compared to new ones, which are hard to recoup.

I heard that the Claas Lexion 580 combine harvester set a record in the early 2010s for crop yield. In just 8 hours, this machine managed to achieve a result of 523 tons. This information greatly intrigued me, so I decided to rent this powerful machine for one season. As a result of its operation, we understood why this combine harvester delivers such impressive results. It turns out that it needs to be equipped with a GPS navigator so that it can strictly follow a predetermined trajectory without deviating from its course. The only thing that prevents me from purchasing this combine harvester is the high prices of its spare parts.

I am a farmer, I have always worked with rented tractors. A year ago, I decided to get my own, specifically the John Deere 3720. It pays off quite quickly, in just a few seasons with a good workload. It can handle any job on the farm, and its fuel consumption is optimal (I have something to compare it with).

There are no complaints about the technical specifications and performance indicators of the machine, but there is one point - this tractor needs to be refueled only with diesel fuel that meets the Euro 5 standard. Therefore, if you want to reduce the payback period of the equipment and save on fuel costs, the New Holland tractor is not suitable for you. The fuel and lubricants available to us can cause machine breakdowns. Something similar happened to my friend, who saved on fuel and ended up paying extra for repairs.

Taking on the cultivation of 120 hectares of land, this tractor with a cultivator and fertilizer spreader does the job just right. However, for heavy-duty tasks, I prefer to rent additional equipment.

If you have the money for equipment, then definitely worth getting. Reliable tractor. The quality is true Europe. Really nothing to find fault with new machines.

In the car park, there is a Claas Lexion 450 combine harvester. After winter, I decided to clean the machine. The hopper and buttons were fine, but there was an unfamiliar noise. I took out two halves of the variator pulley from the front part and cleaned them. I couldn't reach the remaining parts. The repair manual stated that complete disassembly was necessary in such cases. I didn't dare to disassemble the machine, so I turned to the service center. They fixed the issue, but it cost me a lot.

I rented a used tractor from the 2000s. I worked with a mounted reversible plow, and my impressions of it are good. It plows well and effectively.

Good machine, compared to domestic ones. Equipped it with a bucket from Kotamoto. The power of 23 hp is sufficient for active work on the site. I plan to equip it with an attachment, so I ordered a canopy at the workshop. It suits me well in work, mainly for gardening, firewood, and clearing snow in winter.

2.5 years ago we purchased a John Deere 2066 combine. It doesn't look as outdated as the 1188 model, which we also saw on sale. The power of 270 hp is sufficient for large harvesting tasks. The cost of spare parts and consumables is reasonable, as the model itself is far from new. But once we had to search for the combine's operating manual as we were preparing the equipment for the winter break. We searched the entire internet but found nothing. We reached out to acquaintances at the John Deere service center for the necessary information.
